Introducing the amaran F22x, a powerful and versatile flexible LED Mat that offers outstanding light output and color rendering suitable for a variety of users, from filmmakers to videographers, content creators, and even photographers. With 200W of output power, this ultra-lightweight (0.8kg) 2'x2' fixture is capable of outputting 6,960+ lux at 1 meter (5600K), surpassing anything else in its class. You can tune the F22x’s high-output bi-color chipset from 2500K to 7,500K, and trigger up to 9 different lighting FX. Install the included foldable softbox and instantly turn this flexible mat into an ultra-thin soft light that will make any subject shine with stellar CRI and TLCI scores of 95+ and 98+. With stepless dimming from 0 to 100%, frequency selection for tuning out flicker, and the F22x’s Sidus Link app control, you can be sure to always dial in your perfect lighting design.
Building the F22x is quick and convenient with the compact, folding X-Frame that stretches out the F22x into a rigid panel. This frame can be attached directly to a CStand grip head using the Straight Baby Pin adapter, or onto any standard light stand with the included Right Angle Baby Pin and tilting stand mount, providing an ideal option for all types of filmmakers and creators.
Attach the included softbox, one of two strengths of diffusion, and the fabric grid using the integrated hook-and-loop fabric to further finesse your lighting design and add a beautifully controlled soft light to your scene.
You can also swap out the softbox for an amaran F22 lantern modifier*, allowing you to replicate a volumetric lantern or pancake light with an ultra-light full-color fixture.
With an integrated 3-meter long head cable and the included 3-meter long extension, the F22x can reach out 6 meters away from its compact control box. Engineered from the ground up for the perfect balance of size, weight, and intensity, the F22x’s LED and heat dissipation design results in a heavy-weight punch from a flexible feather-weight design.
Each control box is also outfitted with a multi-voltage battery plate so you can use a capable 14.4V battery to achieve half power, or max out the intensity with full power when using compatible 26V or 28.8V batteries. You can also achieve full output when using the AC power supply, each of which comes with a specially designed battery plate bracket for a seamless user experience. And when combined with the soft carrying case, the F22x becomes a portable light that you can take anywhere for any production.
The Sidus Link app unlocks tools unique to the Aputure and amaran ecosystems, such as Source Match, Color Picker, and Custom FX, all from your phone or tablet. And unique to the newest fixtures in the amaran product line, you can control the F22x using DMX with a special USB-C to 5-Pin DMX512 In & Out Adapter Cable, granting professional-level control to your new favorite flex light.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For opened or used items, a minimum 15% restocking fee may apply depending on the item condition.

Certain professional and project-based products are supplied on a Special Order basis and are subject to different return conditions. Please review the “Special Order Items” section below before placing your order.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Special Order Items (Final Sale)
Certain professional, project-based products are supplied on a Special Order basis and are not regularly stocked. Special Order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the order has been confirmed with the manufacturer.
These items are ordered specifically for individual projects and may include, but are not limited to:
- Professional wireless communication systems
- Large-scale lighting equipment
- Studio carts and grip equipment
- Cine lenses and special production gear
Please ensure compatibility and project requirements before placing your order. If you have any questions regarding lead time or suitability, we strongly recommend contacting us prior to purchase.
In addition, we do not accept returns for sale items, gift cards, perishable goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, or personal care products.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
