Is Filmgear Canada an authorized dealer?

Yes. Filmgear Canada is an authorized Canadian dealer for Aputure, amaran, Nanlite, DJI, Tilta, RODE, Atomos, Hollyland, DZOFILM, Thypoch, SmallRig, Exascend and Vaxis. All products are genuine and include full Canadian manufacturer warranty — no grey market, no import duties.

Does Filmgear Canada have a physical store in Vancouver?

Yes. We have a showroom and warehouse at 945 E Cordova St #108, Vancouver, BC V6A 1H9, minutes from Downtown Vancouver. Customers can view, handle, and test selected equipment in person before purchasing. Open Monday–Saturday, 9:30 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Can I pick up my order locally in Vancouver?

Yes. Local pickup is available at our Vancouver store at 945 E Cordova St #108. Simply select local pickup at checkout. No shipping fees apply for in-store pickup orders.

Does Filmgear Canada ship across Canada?

Yes. We offer fast nationwide shipping to all Canadian provinces — Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, and beyond. Free shipping is available on orders over $199 CAD (some oversize/overweight exclusions apply).

What is Filmgear Canada's return policy?

Filmgear Canada has a 14-day return policy: you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return, and the item must be unused, unopened and in its original packaging with proof of purchase. Opened or used items may be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee, the cost of return shipping is deducted from the refund, and Special Order items, open box and demo units, and clearance items are final sale. To start a return, email info@filmgearcanada.com. If a regular item (not a Special Order, open-box, or demo item) is defective within 14 days of delivery, email info@filmgearcanada.com with a short video of the problem and the serial number, or bring it to our showroom. Once we confirm the defect, we’ll replace it (or refund it if a replacement isn’t available) and handle the manufacturer claim ourselves. For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Does Filmgear Canada offer financing?

Yes. We offer 0% interest financing for 6 months via Shop Pay Installments on eligible orders. You can split your purchase into easy monthly payments with no additional fees. Select Shop Pay at checkout to see your financing options.

Does Filmgear Canada price match?

Yes. Before ordering, click Request a price match on a product page or email the link to info@filmgearcanada.com. We compare totals including shipping for the same brand and model, new and unopened, with a manufacturer warranty in Canada. The Canadian seller must be an authorized retailer or official brand store, pricing in Canadian dollars, with stock you can buy now at the listed price. We exclude third-party marketplace sellers, foreign sites, clearance, open-box, demos, refurbished, limited-quantity offers and price errors.

Does Filmgear Canada rent camera and lighting equipment?

No. Filmgear Canada no longer offers rental services and now sells equipment only. If you need to rent gear in Vancouver, contact us and we will gladly recommend one of our rental partners.
