The amaran 200x S is a 200W bi-color Bowens Mount point- source light with integrated controls, versatile power options, and an upgraded LED chipset for increased color quality and spectral reproduction.
Featuring an all-new dual-blue LED chipset design, the 200x S has improved spectral continuity to achieve stunning spectral reproduction of an ultra-high SSI (Tungsten) of 90 and SSI (D56) of 89, an 18.6% increase in SSI from its predecessor. The 200x S also features super accurate color rendering, with increased CRI [95], TLCI [98], TM-30 RF [97], and TM-30 RG [101] values.
Equipped with a universal Bowens Mount, the 200x S is compatible with the largest selection of modifiers on the market, including the Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Aputure Lantern, making it an incredibly versatile multi-tool. For additional versatility, the 200x S features an umbrella mount integrated into the lamp head.
Matching the all-in-one build of its predecessor, the 200x S contains a powerhouse LED that can output 45,400+ lux at 1 meter when paired with the Hyper Reflector. Its simple and compact form factor houses an intuitive LCD screen and control knob interface that seamlessly blends into the body of the fixture, with the ability to adjust the light in 1% increments and tune the light from 2,700K to 6,500K.
Using its integrated Sidus Mesh technology, the 200x S can be controlled wirelessly via the Sidus Link app, granting it access to 9 lighting effects, including Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Faulty Bulb, TV, Pulse, Strobe, Explosion, and Fire.
In addition to the included AC Power Supply, its 48V DC power input grants the 200x S with the flexibility of battery power using two Gold or V-Mount batteries with the Aputure 2-Bay Battery Power Station*, providing versatile power options for seamless workflows across all shooting environments.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For opened or used items, a minimum 15% restocking fee may apply depending on the item condition.

Certain professional and project-based products are supplied on a Special Order basis and are subject to different return conditions. Please review the “Special Order Items” section below before placing your order.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Certain professional, project-based products are supplied on a Special Order basis and are not regularly stocked. Special Order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the order has been confirmed with the manufacturer.
These items are ordered specifically for individual projects and may include, but are not limited to:
- Professional wireless communication systems
- Large-scale lighting equipment
- Studio carts and grip equipment
- Cine lenses and special production gear
Please ensure compatibility and project requirements before placing your order. If you have any questions regarding lead time or suitability, we strongly recommend contacting us prior to purchase.
In addition, we do not accept returns for sale items, gift cards, perishable goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, or personal care products.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
