In partnership with the reputable DZOFILM，Thypoch -- a burgeoning brand in the camera lens domain, is setting a new standard with its Simera-C lens series, unveiled at IBC 2024. Thypoch Simera-C series is meant to become almost the most compact T/1.5 cine lenses weighing around 400 grams.
The Simera-C lenses share the same optics formula of the existing Simera photo lens, so they carry the same image quality and character. To achieve a more circular bokeh effect, the lenses have been increased to 16 iris blades instead of 14 blades used for the Simera photo version.
Key features:
1) 4 focal lengths from 28mm-75mm to ensure versatile narratives, with a 21mm in the roadmap.
2) Consistent fast aperture of T1.5 and 16 iris blades for round and pleasing bokeh.
3) Ultra-compact and lightweight, only weighing 390-470g. Ideal for car, handheld and, gimbal shooting.
4) High compatibility with mirrorless cameras and cinema cameras like DJI Ronin 4D.
5) Minimal chromatic aberration and high resolution.
6) Metric and Imperial dual focus scales.
7) Supporting an aluminum hard case for a four-lens set, small enough to be packaged into a cabin case and lightweight to be carried on the go with a supplied shoulder strap.
The Simera-C full-frame lenses, ranging from 28mm, 35mm, 50mm to 75mm (with an additional 21mm in the future), can handle most kinds of shooting situations. Equipped with a 16-blade iris and a uniform fast aperture T1.5, these lenses effortlessly produce unparalleled spatial visual impact, enhancing the immersive quality of the imagery.
The Simera-C lenses are built with aspherical, ED, and high-refractive-index elements, enabling them to deliver ultra-high resolution and superior control over chromatic aberration, making them ideal for 8K high-resolution video production. Moreover, these lenses incorporate high-refractive index multi-coating to minimize flares and ghosting. Even in strong backlit conditions, the Simera-C lenses deliver high contrast and overall clean image.
The Simera-C lenses are perfectly compatible with Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras, Sony FX cine cameras, as well as Red, DJI Ronin 4D and Arri cinema cameras.
Pairing the extremely compact Simera-C lenses with autofocus systems like DJI Focus Pro streamlines equipment handling and eases the workload on crew, enhancing shooting flexibility. Additionally, when mounted on the DJI Ronin 4D FLEX system and Sony Venice Rialto Extension, the Simera-C lenses can effortlessly capture challenging angles like low shots, over-the-shoulder perspectives, and tight car spaces. This setup not only expands the cinematic expression but also significantly boosts the agility, handling, and creative scope of the filming.
Simera-C lenses share the same focus throw of 210° and identical geared position design. That means no readjustment is needed when swapping lenses or accessories. This feature, especially when using a gimbal or slider, cuts down on re-balancing time and boosts shooting efficiency.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For opened or used items, a minimum 15% restocking fee may apply depending on the item condition.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Certain professional, project-based products are supplied on a Special Order basis and are not regularly stocked. Special Order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the order has been confirmed with the manufacturer.
These items are ordered specifically for individual projects and may include, but are not limited to:

- Large-scale lighting equipment
- Studio carts and grip equipment
- Cine lenses and special production gear

In addition, we do not accept returns for sale items, gift cards, perishable goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, or personal care products.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
