The amaran Verge Max is a bi-color, 55cm (22in) circular edge-lit panel light designed for desktop creators and compact spaces, delivering soft, true-to-life lighting in an ultra-thin profile, without the bulk of a traditional softbox setup. With customized amaran Verge Lock mounting, edge-lit output that’s soft on the eyes, and multiple ways to control, the amaran Verge Max brings studio-quality lighting to tight home studios and flexible creative setups.
Space-saving, softbox-quality light. Designed for compact spaces, the amaran Verge Max delivers the same softness and flattering difusion of a traditional COB and softbox setup – in an ultra-slim, circular panel that’s just 9% of the depth1 . Perfect for creators working against walls, in corners, or in home studios where every inch of space matters.
Customized mounting with the amaran Verge Lock. Whether clamped to your desk with the included Desk Clamp Stand or mounted on a traditional light stand3 for compact studio setups, you can easily tailor your setup to fit any creative environment. With the amaran Verge Lock mounting system that is quick, easy, and hidden from view, you can achieve precise height and 180º pan and tilt adjustments for tabletop product shots or talking head content – all while keeping your setup clean, secure, and clutter-free.

As the first circular panel with front-facing knobs and a menu screen, the amaran Verge Max puts brightness and color temperature adjustments at your fingertips – without reaching behind your light. For more advanced customization, fine-tune exact values or trigger efects wirelessly via the amaran Desktop App or Stream Deck plugin.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For opened or used items, a minimum 15% restocking fee may apply depending on the item condition.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@filmgearcanada.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Certain professional and project-based products are supplied on a Special Order basis and are subject to different return conditions. Please review the “Special Order Items” section below before placing your order.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Special Order Items (Final Sale)
Certain professional, project-based products are supplied on a Special Order basis and are not regularly stocked. Special Order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the order has been confirmed with the manufacturer.
These items are ordered specifically for individual projects and may include, but are not limited to:
- Professional wireless communication systems
- Large-scale lighting equipment
- Studio carts and grip equipment
- Cine lenses and special production gear
Please ensure compatibility and project requirements before placing your order. If you have any questions regarding lead time or suitability, we strongly recommend contacting us prior to purchase.
In addition, we do not accept returns for sale items, gift cards, perishable goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, or personal care products.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
