Because the LS 600d Pro (its primary matched fixture) can run from 48V DC block batteries or power stations in addition to AC, the entire F10 + LS 600d Pro combination can operate without a generator. This is a significant advantage over HMI or tungsten alternatives, which require dedicated AC circuits or generator power.
