Which Sony bodies fit SmallRig kit 6026?
The cage is made for Sony Alpha 7 V, Alpha 7R V and Alpha 7 IV. It is a model-specific cage; check a different SmallRig cage for other bodies or for a camera fitted with a battery grip.
Does the 6026 include both handles?
Yes. The box contains a cage, top handle, side handle and HDMI cable clamp, along with the operating instruction and guarantee card. The simpler 6025 kit omits the side handle.
Can I remove handles for a smaller camera setup?
The top and side handles attach to the cage and can be removed when a compact handheld or tripod setup is preferable. The cage retains its mounting points for monitors, microphones and other accessories.
How does the kit move between handheld work and a tripod or gimbal?
The base has an integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate for compatible tripods and listed DJI RS stabilizers. Confirm the receiving clamp and balance the complete camera rig before moving it.

The 6025 and 6026 fit the same three Sony bodies. Choose the 6026 when the included side handle is useful for two-handed handheld work; the 6025 supplies a top handle without the side handle.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For opened or used items, a minimum 15% restocking fee may apply depending on the item condition.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If an item is defective within 14 days of delivery, email info@filmgearcanada.com with a short video of the problem and the serial number, or bring it to our showroom. Once we confirm the defect, we’ll replace it (or refund it if a replacement isn’t available) and handle the manufacturer claim ourselves.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Certain professional, project-based products are supplied on a Special Order basis and are not regularly stocked. Special Order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the order has been confirmed with the manufacturer. Special Order items are final sale whether they ship from our stock or are ordered from the manufacturer.
These items are ordered specifically for individual projects and may include, but are not limited to:

- Large-scale lighting equipment
- Studio carts and grip equipment
- Cine lenses and special production gear

In addition, we do not accept returns for open box, demo or clearance items, gift cards, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
