The Octopus Adapter II PL-E connects an ARRI PL lens to a Sony E-mount camera body. Its aluminum-alloy body and SUS 304 stainless-steel mount are machined to 0.01 mm precision, while factory-calibrated flange distance is designed to maintain infinity focus without user adjustment.
DZOFILM redesigned the internal structure with 7.12% more rear-element clearance and rates the adapter for S35, full-frame, and medium-format camera systems. The PL-E version weighs about 190 g without its base and about 205 g with the base, making it practical for handheld, gimbal, and compact cinema-camera builds.
This is a fully mechanical adapter. It does not pass electronic lens data, autofocus, iris control, or power between the lens and camera. The detachable support foot provides 1/4-inch-20 threads for tying heavier cinema-lens setups into a cage, baseplate, or lens-support system.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If an item is defective within 14 days of delivery, email info@filmgearcanada.com with a short video of the problem and the serial number, or bring it to our showroom. Once we confirm the defect, we’ll replace it (or refund it if a replacement isn’t available) and handle the manufacturer claim ourselves.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
