Product Overview
The amaran Halo 200x is the middle model in amaran's Halo series of bi-color COB monolights. It is not a ring light. Halo is simply the series name for these point-source Bowens mount fixtures, and the 200x shapes light exactly like a traditional studio COB: bare for punch, or through a softbox, dome or fresnel.
This is the first Halo size with an all-in-one monolight design. There is no external power brick. One AC cable goes from the wall to the light, which keeps a home studio or a small interview setup tidy and fast to rig. With 10,530 lux at 1 m bare, it has enough output to key a subject through a softbox in a typical home studio room.

- 200W bi-color COB with up to 10,530 lux at 1 m bare and 18,100 lumens of total output.
- Color temperature runs from 2,700K to 6,500K with separate brightness and CCT knobs.
- Accurate white light: CRI 96+ and TLCI 97+. amaran rates SSI at 84 tungsten and 74 daylight, and independent spectrometer reviews measured the same numbers.
- Bowens mount and an 85 degree bare beam that fills softboxes evenly.
- All-in-one design powered by a single 5 m AC cable. No external adapter to tape down.
- Control on the fixture, in the amaran app over Bluetooth (up to 80 m), or over DMX consoles with the optional USB-C to 5-pin adapter.
- Max fan noise is 28 dBA, with a silent mode (output capped at 40W) for critical audio.

Halo or Something Else?
The Halo 200x is bi-color only. If you want full RGB color for effects and mixed practicals, the amaran Ray 120c and Ray 360c bracket this output level with amaran's full-color engine, battery options and IP54 splash resistance. If your interviews happen in bigger rooms, the Halo 300x is the next step up the same ladder.

Only the power cable is included. Like every Halo, it ships without a softbox or reflector, so plan a Bowens modifier from the start. The amaran Light Dome 90 turns it into a soft interview key. The fixture is rated IP20, so keep it to indoor and covered work.

We will size the light, modifier and stand to your room before you commit.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For opened or used items, a minimum 15% restocking fee may apply depending on the item condition.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Certain professional, project-based products are supplied on a Special Order basis and are not regularly stocked. Special Order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the order has been confirmed with the manufacturer.
These items are ordered specifically for individual projects and may include, but are not limited to:

In addition, we do not accept returns for sale items, gift cards, perishable goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, or personal care products.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
