Aputure Spotlight Mini 36-degree lens is the 36-degree optical configuration for the Aputure Spotlight Mini projection system and STORM 80c lighting workflow. It creates a wider projection beam for shorter throws, background patterns, and broader shaped areas, giving crews a deliberate alternative to softbox, grid, Fresnel, or bare-reflector output. Buyers comparing this production lighting accessory should match it to the complete working package before ordering.

Product Overview

Aputure Spotlight Mini 36-degree lens is built around the Spotlight Mini and STORM 80c Mini ProLock ecosystem. This listing is the interchangeable lens for crews that already own the Spotlight Mini body and need the second beam angle. The rotating projector barrel and beam-shaping accessories support controlled keys, specials, window patterns, and texture. Match fixture, projector body, lens angle, stand, power, safety, and case requirements before production.

Key Features

36-Degree Projection Lens

a wider projection beam for shorter throws, background patterns, and broader shaped areas from the Spotlight Mini when used with its compatible STORM 80c system.

Interchangeable Optical Option

The lens lets an existing Spotlight Mini owner change field of view without buying a second projector body.

Controlled Hard-Light Workflow

Use the beam with cutters, gobos, gel, and the optional iris to shape output while retaining STORM 80c colour, CCT, power, and control functions.

How It Compares

Choose the 36-degree version for a wider projection beam for shorter throws, background patterns, and broader shaped areas. Choose the 19-degree lens for a tighter field and more concentrated long-throw placement, or a softbox and grid when soft output is required instead of projection.

Compatible Accessories and Related Gear

Aputure Spotlight Mini 19-degree lens and Aputure Spotlight Mini Iris. Use with the Aputure Spotlight Mini and STORM 80c system. Check Mini ProLock fit, projector-body ownership for lens-only versions, stand capacity, safety cable, heat clearance, gobo size, iris, and carrying case.

Who Is This For?

This projection accessory is for gaffers, cinematographers, studios, rental houses, theatre and event teams, and creators shaping precise patterns or pools of hard light.

Who Should Choose Something Else?

Choose the other beam angle when throw distance or coverage changes, a Fresnel for adjustable conventional hard light, or a softbox and grid when softer output matters more than cuttable projection. Check colour, CCT, power, case, stand, and safety needs.
