The Deity V-Mic D4 DUO is a tiny camera-mount shotgun microphone with two capsules: a forward-facing shotgun and a rear capsule for ambient or interview pickup. Designed to clip into the cold shoe of a mirrorless or compact cinema camera and run the entire day without a battery (powered by the camera's 3.5mm jack).
Designed for
- Run-and-gun shooters, vloggers and small documentary crews.
- Anyone shooting interview-with-room scenarios where you want both the subject and ambience captured cleanly.
Key features
- Dual capsules: forward shotgun + rear pickup.
- Plug-and-play camera power (no battery to remember to charge).
- Cold-shoe mount with built-in shock absorption.
For bigger, boom-mic-on-a-pole scenarios, step up to a dedicated shotgun. The D4 DUO is purpose-built for camera-mounted use.
