FAQ

What is the Aputure 19° Lens for Spotlight Max used for?

The 19° lens is the tighter Spotlight Max lens option for focused projection work, longer throws, and smaller illumination areas. Use it when the lighting plan needs a more concentrated beam from the Spotlight Max housing instead of the broader 36° or 50° lens options.

Does this lens include the Spotlight Max housing?

No. This is the 19° lens only for the Spotlight Max system. Buyers still need the Spotlight Max housing and a compatible Bowens Mount LED fixture to build a complete projection modifier setup.

Which fixtures does the Spotlight Max system work with?

Aputure describes Spotlight Max as a Bowens Mount projection modifier for high-output LED fixtures from the LS 600d Pro and LS 1200d Pro through Electro Storm CS15 and Electro Storm XT26. Fit the lens into the Spotlight Max housing, then match the housing to the compatible fixture.

Should I choose the 19°, 36°, or 50° Spotlight Max lens?

Choose the 19° lens for the tightest beam and longer-throw projection. Choose the 36° lens for a more moderate spread, or the 50° lens when the set needs a wider projected area from the same Spotlight Max system.

Where can I buy the Aputure 19° Lens for Spotlight Max in Canada?

Filmgear Canada carries the Aputure 19° Lens for Spotlight Max for Canadian cinematographers, gaffers, studios, rental houses, schools, and production teams. Filmgear is Vancouver’s pro video lighting and cinema lighting equipment specialist for Aputure lighting modifiers.
