This is the Bare Leads Flight Case Kit: one Aputure STORM XT52 point-source full-white LED monolight with two flight cases, one for the lamp head and one for the control box. Bare-ends cable version, meaning the AC cable terminates in bare leads rather than a region-specific plug, intended for installations or production carts where the cable is wired directly into a distro.

STORM XT52 is Aputure's high-output point-source full-white (non-RGB) LED, designed as a hard-source key for cinema and high-end commercial work. Two units in one travel case keeps a matched pair together for matched key/back or key/fill setups.

Available from Filmgear Canada, with Canada-wide shipping.

FAQ

What is this Aputure item best used for?

This product is best for large sets, rental inventory, high-output diffusion, stage-style control, and demanding production lighting. It fits buyers who want an Aputure product that solves this exact lighting job while keeping the wider fixture, modifier, power, and control plan simple enough for real production days.

How should I compare it with nearby Aputure options?

Aputure STORM XT52 Point-fixture Full-White LED Monolight Dual Flight Case Kit (Bare Ends Cable) belongs in the high-output Aputure production tier. Compare it against smaller STORM and LS fixtures by asking whether the project needs large modifiers, stronger throw, power planning, case logistics, and crew handling rather than only comparing fixture price.

What accessories should I plan with it?

Plan the complete setup around stand strength, modifier size, grid or barndoor control, power method, case transport, app or DMX control, and any same-family accessories. Filmgear Canada can help match the product to the compatible Aputure workflow before you build the kit.

Is it a good choice for Canadian productions?

Yes, when the product title and family match the job you are trying to solve. Canadian crews should also think about shipping size, special-order timing when relevant, power configuration, local service expectations, and whether the item completes a usable kit instead of adding another standalone piece.

Who should choose something else instead?

Choose another Aputure item if you need more output, a different CCT or RGB capability, a different beam angle, a larger or smaller modifier, a different power connector, more travel-friendly packing, or a control workflow built around a different fixture family.
