Introducing the new generation of professional panel light series - Alien
Featuring a compact yet sturdy design, an advanced colour mixing system, improved low-end dimming, an IP55 rating, multiple power options, and efficient cooling technology, the Alien is the ultimate lighting solution that underscores Nanlite's commitment to serving a wide range of applications.
Whether it's an outdoor location with pouring rain, an indoor shooting with live recording, or a small set requiring more flexibility, the Alien 150C and Alien 300C will always be reliable tools, helping users achieve their desired results.

More Light, Less Weight
With flexibility, transportability and weight demand in mind, the Nanlite team designed the Alien 150C and 300C with a separate lamp head and control unit.
3.6 kg (150C) / 6.6 kg (300C)
The lamp head of the Alien 150C weighs only 3.6kg/7.94lb, and the Alien 300C just 6.6kg/14.55lb. These represent significant reductions of 13% and 45% respectively compared to similar products on the market. This allows the Alien lights to be easily mounted on boom arms or lightweight stands.
The Alien 150C features an illumination area of 24.6 × 18 cm (9.7 × 7.1"), while the Alien 300C measures 36 × 24.8 cm (14.2 × 9.8”). Paired with the included pop-up softbox, they can create perfect soft light while maintaining a compact size.
Precision Optics, Illuminating Excellence
The Alien series adopts an advanced optical design, together with alternately laid and rotated WW and RGB light beads, along with excellent light mixing technology. This combination allows it to output a very bright and even beam.

The redesigned menu layout offers a clearer operational logic, assisting users in quickly locating needed functionsand effortlessly adjusting parameters.
In response to users' demand for quick access to specific lighting settings, the Alien series is equipped with a preset function, allowing for quick saving and recalling of parameters. With this function, users can save a lot of time on setting parameters and have more time for production.
IP55 Rated Panel + Control Unit Rain Cover = Complete Protection
Nanlite always believes that reliable lighting fixtures with comprehensive protection are one of the foundations for smooth production progress. Therefore, lighting designed for use in rugged environments is of paramount importance.
To tackle all-weather conditions and uncertainties on set, the Alien series features a metal lamp head with an IP55 rating, combined with a specially designed rain cover for the control unit. This complete protection ensures that the demands of lighting in rainy, snowy, or dusty environments are met, enabling users to overcome various location challenges.
Multiple Modes, Unlock Imagination
To support the endless imagination of creators, the Alien series offers various modes. Regardless of the scenario or application, users can find the best solutions with Alien's different modes.

Reproduces various colours of light with a colour temperature range of 2700K to 12000K and ±150 green/magenta adjustments.

HSI Mode
Allows direct and fast adjustment of hue, saturation, and intensity, offering a wide selection of 36,000 colours.

RGBW Mode
Allows the user to independently select the values of the red, green, blue, and white channels, creating a wide range of colour combinations.

Achieves precise colour control by adjusting the values of XY coordinates within the selected zone of the CIE 1931 colour space.

Equipped with 5-Pin XLR DMX in and out ports, it supports DMX/RDM control through a wired connection to a lighting console for accurate and reliable group control.

Delicate Tuning, More than One Choice
The Alien series offers three different dimming methods: users can choose 0.1% increments for precise light control throughout the range, 1% increments for quick adjustments, or 0.1% increments specifically for brightness below 10%, ensuring both smooth tuning at low intensity and fast adjustments above 10% brightness.
Furthermore, thanks to hardware upgrades and software enhancements, the Alien series now achieves superior linear dimming. Dimming remains smooth even at the lowest brightness levels of 0.0% to 1.0%, allowing for an easy simulation of the fade-up process of traditional light sources.
With seven built-in DMX dimming curves and fifteen DMX modes, the Alien series meets the demanding control requirements for complex dimming speeds and lighting settings.
Designed for Quiet Operation
Nanlite engineers prioritized quiet operation and efficient heat dissipation from the LEDs when designing the Alien 150C and 300C. To achieve this, the rear of lamp head is fully covered with an aluminumalloy heat sink and enhanced by powerful airflow from two fans. This improvement in heat dissipation allows for a further reduction in the size and weight of the cooling system, making the lights smaller and lighter.
Additionally, when absolute silence is required, the newly added Pause mode allows the fans to be temporarily turned off while supporting the lamp head set at 100% brightness.
Versatile Power Choices
To cope with the complex and ever-changing conditions on set, the Alien series is equipped with reliable and versatile power options. Not only can it be connected to AC/DC power sources for sustained power assurance, but it also allows for the option of using 14.4V-14.8V or 26V-28V batteries for remote operation. The Alien 150C requires only one V-mount battery for power, while the Alien 300C supports the mixed use of V-mount batteries with different voltages.
Both the Alien 150C and Alien 300C support hot swapping among different power supply options. This allows for seamless switching between power supply methods without interrupting the production.

Quick Release Clamp
The included quick release clamp enables the control unit to be quickly and securely rigged to light stands or trusses.

Cable
Both the AC power cables and DC connection cables are equipped with self-locking connectors, ensuring solid and rapid connections.

Softbox
The installation of the included pop-up softbox is straightforward simply fit the elastic bands of the softbox onto the shoulder bolts at the back of the lamp head. After use, flatten the softbox and secure it by looping the two elastic bands over the shoulder bolts for storage.

Barndoor
A barndoor is available for optional purchase. Users can quickly secure it by screwing its four bolts into the screw holes of the lamp head. The four leaves can be swung to shape the light flexibly.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For opened or used items, a minimum 15% restocking fee may apply depending on the item condition.

Damages and Issues
