Ideal for capturing ultrasmooth mirrorless or DSLR video footage, the RS 5 Gimbal Stabilizer Combo Kit from DJI comes complete with a Z-axis (vertical) indicator, auto tracking, and a briefcase-style control handle. The RS 5 gimbal features full charging in just one hour, a 15% increase in runtime, Teflon-enhanced balancing, and fine-tuning knobs.

Enhanced Battery and Fast Charging

When used with the BG33 battery grip, the RS 5 gimbal can be fully charged in as little as one hour using a 65W PD power charger. It offers 14 hours of runtime, 15% more than the RS 4, or up to 30 hours when used with a BG70 battery grip.

Z-Axis Indicator

The Z-axis indicator displays your vertical movements so that you can adjust your motion, but it does not provide Z-axis stabilization.

Intelligent Tracking Module

• Easily attached via a magnetic mount, the included module provides intelligent framing and tracking via a single tap.
• Tracking features include up to a 32.8' range, gimbal and hand gesture control, and orbit, POV/selfie, and backwards tracking modes.

Auto-Locking OLED Screen

The RS 5 is equipped with a fixed OLED touchscreen with a new auto-lock feature. Once locked, the screen displays current gimbal and joystick movements at low brightness to prevent accidental switching and conserve battery.

Native Vertical Capture

Quickly switch to vertical/portrait mode in seconds using the RS 5 gimbal's third-generation vertical shooting design. Simply loosen and press the single-side knob, rotate the horizontal plate, tighten the plate, and you’re ready to shoot.

Second-Generation Quick Release Plate Design

With dual-layered quick release plates, the RS 5 makes mounting and balancing your camera fast and easy. The redesigned horizontal plate enables faster transitions to native vertical shooting, while the fine-tuning knob adjusts tilt balance. Placement guides ensure secure mounting.

Monitoring and Control

Remotely adjust camera exposure in the Ronin app or control the gimbal using the virtual joystick. With the Ronin Image Transmitter, a smartphone can be used as a motion controller for dynamic remote camera movements.

Second-Generation Automated Axis Locks

Press and hold the power button to unlock all three axes automatically and be ready to shoot in two seconds. Press once to lock and enter sleep mode. The second-generation design reduces gaps when locked, minimizing gimbal shake.

RSA Communication Port

The RSA port allows integration of Ronin-series and third-party accessories with control capability. The DJI RS SDK enables future accessory expansion and customized functions for the RS 5.

Wireless Shutter Control

With Dual-Mode Bluetooth, the RS 5 supports wireless shutter control. After initial pairing, you can start and stop recording directly from the gimbal, and paired cameras automatically reconnect without cables.

Focus Pro and DJI SDR Transmission Support

Pair the RS 5 with two Focus Pro motors to control focus and zoom using the gimbal dial and joystick. Add DJI SDR Transmission for live video feed and full remote gimbal and camera control.
