This SmallRig FX5 cage kit uses a padded U-shaped frame and multiple 1/4-20 locking points to protect and stabilize the camera. It adds 1/4-20 threads, ARRI 3/8-16 locating holes, a NATO rail, cold-shoe mounting, strap slots, a dedicated HDMI clamp, and an enclosed top handle for controlled low-angle operation.
The included 15mm rod clamp opens a path for a matte box, follow focus, lens support, or other rod-mounted parts, although rods are not included. The detachable top plates adapt the Sony FX5 rig for an XLR-H2B handle or DVF-EL1 viewfinder, while the Pro Arca-type plate carries an important DJI RS compatibility limitation.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If an item is defective within 14 days of delivery, email info@filmgearcanada.com with a short video of the problem and the serial number, or bring it to our showroom. Once we confirm the defect, we’ll replace it (or refund it if a replacement isn’t available) and handle the manufacturer claim ourselves.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
