Product Overview
This is the most complete mechanical rigging package in the launch group. The body-specific cage locks to the Sony FX5 at three points and can be reduced to a half-cage configuration when weight matters. Threaded mounts, locating points, cold shoes and NATO rails support monitors, audio accessories and compact control hardware while preserving access to the camera’s operating controls.
The Xeno top handle improves low-angle carrying and creates a convenient monitor-mounting position. The NATO side handle adds a textured second grip with height adjustment. Both handles can be removed when a tripod, gimbal or shoulder configuration needs a cleaner profile.
Under the camera, the height-adjustable baseplate is designed to maintain the 85mm LWS relationship between the 15mm rods and lens axis across different camera heights. The included 200mm rods create a starting rail for compatible matte boxes, lens motors, supports and shoulder-rig components.

How It Compares
The Pro Kit is the right choice when rod-mounted lens accessories are already part of the production plan. It costs more and weighs more than the Full Cage or Base Kit, but it avoids sourcing a separate adjustable baseplate, rods and handles.
The Power Kit is a different solution rather than a larger Pro package. It supplies extended V-mount power but omits the Xeno handles, 15mm LWS baseplate and rods included here.

Who Should Choose Something Else?

What can mount on the included 15mm rods?
Compatible lens motors, matte boxes, lens supports, shoulder pads and other 15mm LWS accessories can use the rails. Check the accessory’s rod spacing, height and clearance before purchase.

Can the Pro Kit move between tripod and gimbal work?
The ARCA interfaces are designed to speed support changes and provide gimbal centre-positioning references. The complete rig may need to be stripped down to meet a gimbal’s payload and clearance limits.
Does the Pro Kit include power or a battery plate?
No. It is a mechanical cage, handling and 15mm rod package. The Sony FX5 Power Kit is the option that includes Tilta’s Mini PD V-Mount Battery Plate and power cable.
