FAQ

What is included in this MT Pro kit?

The MT Pro factory package includes the mini tripod, 45° grid, carrying case and USB-C cable. This Filmgear Canada kit also adds one waterproof pouch and one Baby Pin Adapter to Back Clamp.

Can I use MT Pro as a main key light?

The 1-foot MT Pro is designed for close accents, practicals and effects. Aputure measures 159 lux at 1 m at 5600K without the grid, so use a larger fixture when the subject needs a stand-off key.

How is MT Pro controlled on set?

Use onboard controls, Sidus Link or built-in CRMX. Wired DMX requires Aputure's separately sold USB-C to 5-pin adapter.

Can I mount it on a light stand?

The included mini tripod handles tabletop work. The free Baby Pin Adapter to Back Clamp gives the MT Pro a mounting route for a standard baby pin; check your stand and rigging load before use.

Is MT Pro waterproof without the pouch?

No. Use the included promotional waterproof pouch when water protection is needed and follow Aputure's pouch instructions. The bare light itself is not waterproof.

How It Compares

Choose MT Pro when a compact 1-foot tube with dense pixel control and flexible rigging suits the shot. Aputure's INFINIBAR PB3 is another 1-foot pixel bar when a seamless bar and connected array are the priority.

FAQ

Should I choose Aputure MT Pro or MC Pro?

Choose MT Pro when the shot needs a visible tube, line reflection, or pixel-style practical. Choose MC Pro when a flat hidden pocket light or eye light is the better shape.

Should I choose MT Pro or INFINIBAR PB6?

Choose MT Pro for a compact 1 ft tube effect. Choose INFINIBAR PB6 when the set needs a longer 2 ft bar, modular shapes, or a larger pixel-bar package.

Can MT Pro be my main interview light?

No. Treat it as an accent, practical, or pixel tube. For a main key, compare STORM 80c, STORM 400x, NOVA II, or another larger fixture.

Is MT Pro waterproof?

Do not plan wet placement around the bare MT Pro without checking the exact Aputure guidance and accessory path first. If water resistance matters, ask Filmgear Canada before buying.

Where can I buy Aputure MT Pro in Canada?

Buy Aputure MT Pro products from Filmgear Canada for Canada-wide shipping, Vancouver-area pickup support, Canadian dealer and manufacturer-warranty support, and help comparing MT Pro, MC Pro, and INFINIBAR.
