FAQ

Which cameras can Pyro 5 4K control?

Direct Camera Control lets you change camera settings from the touchscreen without going back to the camera. Hollyland says Pyro 5 4K supports more Sony, Canon and Nikon models than the original Pyro 5, but support depends on the camera body. Send Filmgear Canada your camera model and we will confirm it with Hollyland before you order.

How is Pyro 5 4K powered?

Pyro 5 4K runs on NP-F batteries (6 to 16 V) or DC input (10 to 18 V). Hollyland rates power draw below 18.9 W in transmitter mode and below 16 W in receiver mode, so runtime depends on the capacity of the battery you use. Batteries and a DC power supply are not included.

Is Pyro 5 4K too heavy for a small camera rig?

Hollyland lists a net weight of about 410 g (14.5 oz) and a body size of 151.6 x 102.3 x 40.5 mm before you add an NP-F battery. A 1/4-inch cold shoe mount is included for camera-top use.
