This SmallRig FX5 cage kit combines the standard padded cage, HDMI protection, hand strap, and an XLR-handle extension shaped around the Sony handle. The extension increases grip length and adds 1/4-20, ARRI locating, cold-shoe, and NATO mounting options without replacing the camera’s audio handle.
The Sony XLR handle itself is not included. The integrated Arca base keeps the Sony FX5 rig compatible with the listed DJI RS-series gimbals, while the top plate is removed when the XLR handle or DVF-EL1 viewfinder occupies the camera’s top interface.

Damages and Issues

If an item is defective within 14 days of delivery, email info@filmgearcanada.com with a short video of the problem and the serial number, or bring it to our showroom. Once we confirm the defect, we’ll replace it (or refund it if a replacement isn’t available) and handle the manufacturer claim ourselves.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
