Available from Filmgear Canada, the amaran Ray 60c is a 60W full-colour Bowens COB for Canadian creators who need a small interview, accent or location light. Its OmniColor engine, 528 g body and USB-C PD option make a compact colour kit possible without giving up standard Bowens modifiers.

FAQ
Is the included Octa Dome 30 large enough for a soft interview key?
It gives a compact diffused source for close work, with a grid to limit spill. For a wider, softer wrap on a face, place a larger compatible Bowens softbox at the distance your room allows. The Octa Dome 30 remains useful for a small accent or product setup.
Can I run the Ray 60c without an AC outlet?
Yes, with a compatible USB-C PD supply or an optional Ace E-Lock battery. The box includes the AC adapter, not a battery. Check the power source and cable against amaran's requirements before planning a full-output location shoot.
What changes if I choose the Ray 120c instead?
The Ray 120c moves from 3,910 to 6,850 lux bare at 1 m and from 60W to 120W maximum light output. Both are full-colour Bowens fixtures with the small Octa Dome kit; choose based on diffusion loss and working distance.
How do I change colour during a shoot?
Use the head's FlowTurn controls or pair the amaran app by NFC. For a console-based rig, an optional USB-C to 5-pin DMX adapter adds a wired path. The fixture can still be operated locally without either accessory.
What white-light and colour-temperature options does the Ray 60c offer?
Its regular CCT range is 2,300–10,000K, with an expanded 1,800–20,000K CCT+ mode. The OmniColor engine also lets you set full-colour looks, so one small fixture can switch between a white key and coloured accent.
Does IP54 mean the whole Ray 60c kit can get wet?
IP54 is the fixture rating for dust and splashes; it does not make the AC adapter, connectors or stand waterproof. Protect the complete power path and follow the manufacturer’s handling guidance on a location shoot.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For opened or used items, a minimum 15% restocking fee may apply depending on the item condition.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If an item is defective within 14 days of delivery, email info@filmgearcanada.com with a short video of the problem and the serial number, or bring it to our showroom. Once we confirm the defect, we’ll replace it (or refund it if a replacement isn’t available) and handle the manufacturer claim ourselves.
For Special Order items, damage or defect claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Special Order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the order has been confirmed with the manufacturer. Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
